Recently the Pre K students made I spy sculptures. They had to write clues, just like in the I spy books. We then invited a third grade class working with Mrs. Cestaro to come and view the sculptures. The third graders had a really hard time finding the items listed in the clues. It was fun to watch the older students work with their younger peers.
Many of the third graders had been Pre K students at Riverton. They remembered doing this project when they were four. They realized that the big kids who viewed their sculptures were playing along when they pretended to have a hard time finding the objects. It was interesting to see the growth of the third grade students.
