In one of the stories, Max's Dragon Shirt, the character gets lost and gets to eat ice cream with the police officer, getting it all over his shirt. We make frozen yogurt with the students as one of our projects connected to this story. The children love to invite their families to share their hard work and celebrate their learning. We made chocolate, strawberry and blueberry frozen yogurt. The children were able to add toppings to their ice cream, it was YUMMY!
There was a great turn out this year, we almost ran out of frozen yogurt! Fun was had by all and Miss Christine read the story Max's Dragon Shirt to end the evening.
