Play Me A Story

At Riverton School we are very lucky to have the Portland Stage Company come to our school and act out stories for the children. The actors visit three times a year. After the performance the actors work with various classrooms of students, teaching them acting techniques. These performances are well received by Riverton students.

Today they performed stories by three Maine authors. Mother Goose by Ryan T. Higgins, Blueberries for Sal by Robert Mccloskey and Hattie and Hudson by Chris Van Allsburg. Todays performance included a special song that was written in collaboration with the Author.
